Santa partners with Fondy Food Pantry
Don’t miss your chance to see Santa Claus when he makes a visit to Fond du Lac
Lakeside Park on Christmas Eve! He will be greeting visitors in the park in front of
the bandstand on Promen Drive from 5 pm - 10pm
Santa would like to encourage every one to embrace
the giving spirit this Christmas and make a cash
donation to the Lakeside Park Lights or bring your
non-perishable food items to donate to the Fondy
Food Pantry.
Shown in the picture, Santa is verifying his GPS and
has located Fond du Lac on the U.S. map. Look for
Santa and his red sleigh. The Pantry volunteers will be
there to graciously accept your food donation.
The pantry is in need of non-perishable food items that
include canned tuna or chicken; canned fruits,
vegetables and soups; canned meals like spaghetti,
beef stew, and chili; pasta and rice; cereal, pancake
mix and syrup; juice and snack bars.
Salvation Army
December 19 and 20th, the Salvation Army will be accepting canned goods and
Red Kettle Donations at the entrance of Lakeside Park’s new outdoor light display
“This Drive by Donation could be a tremendous help to The Salvation Army
Christmas effort. The community knows that the food pantries in Fond du Lac and
in fact throughout the nation, have been struggling in the last year. To fill
Christmas baskets we especially need cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes,
stuffing and butter. However, donations of all food stuffs are welcome.”
