by Diggersworld.com Pleases support the following charities: Santa partners with Fondy Food Pantry Don’t miss your chance to see Santa Claus when he makes a visit to Fond du Lac Lakeside Park on Christmas Eve!  He will be greeting visitors in the park in front of the bandstand on Promen Drive from 5 pm - 10pm Santa would like to encourage every one to embrace the giving spirit this Christmas and make a cash donation to the Lakeside Park Lights or bring your non-perishable food items to donate to the Fondy Food Pantry.   Shown in the picture, Santa is verifying his GPS and has located Fond du Lac on the U.S. map. Look for Santa and his red sleigh. The Pantry volunteers will be there to graciously accept your food donation. The pantry is in need of non-perishable food items that include canned tuna or chicken; canned fruits, vegetables and soups; canned meals like spaghetti, beef stew, and chili; pasta and rice; cereal, pancake mix and syrup; juice and snack bars.   Salvation Army December 19 and 20th, the Salvation Army will be accepting canned goods and Red Kettle Donations at the entrance of Lakeside Park’s new outdoor light display “This Drive by Donation could be a tremendous help to The Salvation Army Christmas effort.  The community knows that the food pantries in Fond du Lac and in fact throughout the nation, have been struggling in the last year.  To fill Christmas baskets we especially need cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes, stuffing and butter.  However, donations of all food stuffs are welcome.”
